PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town Board of the Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County, State of New York, will meet at the Town of Smithtown Town Hall, Patrick R. Vecchio Building, Victor T. Liss Board Room, 99 West Main Street, Smithtown, NY 11787 on the 25th day of January, 2018 at 7:00 P.M., time then in effect to consider amending the Zoning Code and/or Map of the Town of Smithtown as petitioned by Elite Towers, LP Special Exception Petition #2015-08, for a special exception for the addition of a wireless communication facility to be constructed in the southwestern portion of the property located at 300 West Main Street, Smithtown, located on the south side of Main Street, 750 feet west of Edgewood Avenue, Smithtown, New York, SCTM #0800-76-4-7.1 and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
ALL that certain plot, piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in the Town of Smithtown, County of Suffolk and State of New York, bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the southerly line of Jericho Turnpike at the division line between the premises herein described and the northwest corner of premises acquired by Arthur L. Dhuy by deed recorded in Liber 4818, Cp.344; the following courses and distances:
1. South 25 degrees 45 minutes 10 seconds West 100 feet;
2. South 64 degrees 14 minutes 50 seconds East 216.29 feet;
THENCE South 16 degrees 30 minutes West, 210.92 feet;
THENCE South 16 degrees 16 minutes 10 seconds West 277.36 feet to land of Long Island Railroad-Port Jefferson Branch;
THENCE along last mentioned land the following courses and distances;
1. North 77 degrees 24' West 51.55 feet;
2. Westerly along the arc of a curve bearing to the right, and having a radius of 1,382.39 feet, a distance of 388.35 feet; thence North 25 degrees 45' 10" East 388.23 feet to land
now or formerly of Rama Management Inc., acquired by deed recorded in Liber 8230,
page 464; thence along last mentioned land the following courses and distances:
1. South 64 degrees 14 minutes 50 seconds East 75.75 feet;
2. North 25 degrees 45 minutes 10 seconds East 240 feet to the southerly line of Jericho
Turnpike.
THENCE South 64 degrees 14 minutes 50 seconds East along the southerly line of Jericho Turnpike 64 feet to the point or place of BEGINNING.
AT THE AFOREMENTIONED TIME AND PLACE, a public hearing will be held and all interested persons shall be given an opportunity to be heard.
