Specifications may be obtained at the Town Clerk Office, 99 West Main Street, Smithtown Bids will be accepted at the Town Clerk Office on or before 11:00 am October 23, 2014.
The successful contractor(s) shall be responsible for refuse removal from Town owned, leased or maintained buildings, parks, beaches and facilities, as detailed in the bid specifications. Pick-ups shall be made at the required frequencies, as noted on the quotation sheets. For each awarded item, the selected contractor shall supply a container, in the specified size, which conforms to all applicable New York State, Suffolk County and Town of Smithtown codes. All containers must be in good condition at the start of the agreement. The selected contractor shall be responsible for maintaining containers in good condition and shall promptly replace or repair any damaged or worn containers upon request from the Town. All containers are to be left in place as specified for the duration of the agreement, unless the Town requests their removal.
