A Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement (DGEIS) regarding the Town of Smithtown 2020 Comprehensive Plan is available for review and comment.

Please note that the scale and dimensions of the Figures and Plans in this document may not be accurately displayed on your monitor. Paper copies of this DGEIS with scale drawings are available for public review at the Smithtown, Nesconset, Kings Park, and Commack branches of the Smithtown Public Library, as well as at the offices of the Smithtown Department of Environment and Waterways at 124 West Main Street, Smithtown, NY 11787, telephone (631) 360-7514.

At this time, the Town is requesting written comments from the public related to the Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement.

The public comment period closed at 5 pm June 23, 2023,
