PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town Board of the Town of Smithtown, Suffolk County, State of New York will meet at the Town of Smithtown Town Hall, Patrick R. Vecchio Building, Victor T. Liss Board Room, 99 West Main St., Smithtown, NY 11787 on the 6th day of November, 2018 at 2:00 P.M, time then in effect to consider Special Exception Petition #2018-04 as submitted by Adam Ditcher (The Sports Arena) located on the south side of Middle Country Rd., 1084' west of Broadley Ave., St. James, LI Zoning District, SCTM#: 0800-108-3-4.1 for a Special Exception in order to permit an expansion of a Commercial Public Recreation use and being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
ALL that certain plot, piece or parcel of land with the buildings and improvements thereon erected, situate, lying and being in the Town of Smithtown, County of Suffolk, State of New York known and designated as part of Lots 1003, 1004 and 1067 on a certain map entitled, “20th Map of House and Home Company”, and filed in the Office of the Clerk of the County of Suffolk on 2/1/1900 as Map No. 580, being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the westerly side Broadley Avenue distant 1039.63 feet southerly from the corner formed by the intersection of the southerly side of New York State Route 25, Middle Country Road, with the westerly side of Broadley Avenue;
RUNNING THENCE along the westerly side of Broadley Avenue, South 3 degrees 33 minutes, 34 seconds West, 423.76 feet to lands now or formerly of Grand and Agnes Dodge;
THENCE along said lands North 85 degrees 51 minutes 30 seconds West, 375.49 feet to the lands now formerly of Salvatore Alessio;
THENCE along said lands, North 2 degrees 39 minutes 07 seconds East, 420 feet;
THENCE through lots 1067, 1003 and 1004 on the aforesaid map, South 86 degrees 26 minutes East 382.12 feet, to the point or place of BEGINNING.
AT THE AFOREMENTIONED TIME AND PLACE, a public hearing will be held and all interested persons shall be given an opportunity to be heard.
