Personnel Department
Responsibilities & Services
The Personnel Department provides for the staffing needs of all town departments and ensures that the town’s hiring practices are in compliance with the law and with the rules and regulations of the Suffolk County Department of Civil Service. The Personnel Department administers the town’s collective bargaining agreements, directs its labor relations program, and manages the employee benefits program for current and retired employees.

Employment applications are available for download or at the Personnel Department, which is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
